How to access your online SI session via Zoom:- Search the table and locate your class.
- Select the link to join the meeting.
Once you join the meeting:- You will enter a central meeting room where you will be greeted by your SI Leader.
- Be sure to scan the QR code. We are taking attendance.
- By default, your microphone will be initially muted and the camera will be off. You may activate them at the bottom left of your Zoom screen.
- Select the icon "Participants" and the icon "Chat" at the bottom of the Zoom screen. This will allow you to see who is in the session.
- When you are not speaking, please be kind to the other participants and mute your microphone to avoid excessive noise during the session.
- You need to have a device such as a computer, a tablet, or a phone with a microphone. A camera is useful but not required.
- Make sure that you have the Zoom app. You may download the app and learn more about it at tamu.zoom.us.
As always, SI is committed to collaborative and engaging sessions. As such, be prepared for your SI Leader to assign you to a virtual “break out room” where you and a handful of other participants will work together on session activities. Your SI Leader will visit all the breakout rooms to check on your progress and answer questions you may have.
