College Readiness
A state-legislated program, TSI is designed to ensure that students entering public colleges and universities in Texas are prepared for college-level coursework. At Texas A&M University, all incoming undergraduate students must meet college readiness standards in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics before enrolling in certain courses.
Checking Your TSI Status
You can check your TSI status by logging into Howdy and searching “Texas Success Initiative” in your Howdy Dashboard. This page will display your current TSI status, any missing test scores, and outline your next steps.
